A Nightmare

The 2 customer service girls and the Store was great...The service people are the worst. Our 10 year warrantied mattress was sagging after 3 years. First expert service tech brought a device out of a Cracker Jack Box that was to short to measure a CA king (maybe it could be used on a queen size). He then placed the device on the peaks and did not measure the valleys. He reported the mattress was not sagging. Upon showing pictures to customer service at Ashley's they sent out another tech within a week...He walks in, says that he can see the indentations and proceeds to take various measurements and pictures (some of which I feel he deleted). Tells us what we should buy and not buy. Tells us he'll talk to his Supervisor and the discontinued mattress (Manufacture must have realized it was a lemon) will be replaced. When we got the results are claim was denied...He lied on the report about everything. The main reason we were denied was because we did not have "SLATS" to hold up the box spring we purchased with the mattress. Funny, when Ashley delivered the mattress or when we purchased it, no one told us we needed SLATS..The tech told us there was no way the box spring and lack of slats could cause any sagging. That's not what he put in the report...I actually went in with the hope that Ashley would prorate the mattress and we'd buy another one, who knew I had to be tortured first.

No matter how well we liked the Plam Desert store, I will never buy anything padded you sit on or sleep on. Actually, with the experience we had with the so called service people, I will probably never purchase another Item from them...
